Human Resources Manager / HR Specialist VIP Honda North Plainfield NJ Full-Time About Us VIP Honda is a growing automotive dealership committed to providing excellent customer service and a great workplace for our employees. We are looking for an experienced and organized Human Resources professional to join our team. Job Responsibilities Manage day-to-day HR activities for the dealership. Recruit, interview, and hire employees for sales, service, parts, finance, and administrative departments. Coordinate new-hire onboarding and employee orientation. Maintain employee files, records, attendance, and HR documentation. Assist with payroll, benefits, vacation, sick leave, and employee timekeeping. Handle employee questions and workplace concerns professionally. Support employee performance reviews and disciplinary processes. Ensure dealership policies and procedures are followed. Help maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws. Work closely with dealership management on staffing and employee relations. Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information. Qualifications Previous HR experience required; automotive dealership experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems. HR certification or a degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
