Full-time, Exempt Company Overview Navitas Global LLC converts dairy industry waste streams into ultra low carbon ethanol, high protein animal feed, and surplus purified water. Our Portales biorefinery expected to produce 25 MGPY of advanced ethanol per year. Position Summary The Human Resources Manager builds and leads all HR programs for a fast growing renewable fuels workforce. This role oversees recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, performance management, and compliance for 50+ employees, partnering closely with plant leadership to sustain a high engagement, safety focused culture. Key Responsibilities Design and execute talent acquisition strategies to fill skilled operations, maintenance, and technical roles. Manage onboarding, orientation, and training logistics for new hires and promotions. Administer compensation, benefits, and 401(k) programs; oversee annual salary and performance review cycles. Ensure compliance with FLSA, OSHA, EEO/AA, and state labor regulations; act as primary contact for audits. Lead employee relations initiatives, investigations, and corrective actions in partnership with frontline supervisors. Develop and deliver inhouse training modules on safety culture, leadership, and DEI. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years progressive HR generalist or HRBP experience; 2+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Working knowledge of HRIS/payroll platforms and federal/state employment laws. Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Preferred Qualifications PHR, SPHR, SHRMCP, or SHRMSCP certification. Experience supporting a startup or high growth production facility. Familiarity with bilingual workforces (English/Spanish) and corresponding training practices. Working Conditions Predominantly office setting with routine plant floor walkarounds. Occasional evening or weekend availability during peak hiring or investigations.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$24 - $27 p/h (DOE) + annual performance bonus. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 401(k) with company match.
