Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in various construction activities, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and safely. Your hands-on work will contribute to the creation of durable structures, stunning renovations, and innovative designs. Duties Assist with the installation of concrete forms, rebar, and other structural components according to blueprints and technical drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently to support pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete Help with heavy lifting and material transportation around the construction site to ensure timely progress Support carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, stucco application, and roof work as needed Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Aid in masonry work, metal stud framing, flooring installation, and restoration projects to meet project specifications Interpret construction plans and blueprint specifications accurately for various tasks such as formwork construction and concrete pouring Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a construction environment is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, cutting, pumping, and rebar installation techniques Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as concrete mixers and saws Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Experience with plastering, caulking, roofing, renovation work, or masonry is a plus Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required Embark on a rewarding journey in construction where every day offers new challenges and opportunities to learn.
