The Bilingual in Spanish Senior Human Resources Manager provides strategic and operational HR leadership. This role partners closely with site-level leadership teams to deliver HR strategies that support business objectives in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse and logistics environment. Salary of $110k annual plus bonus! The Senior HRM serves as a trusted advisor to operations leadership, ensuring consistent execution of HR programs, strong associate relations, compliance with federal and state employment laws, and effective talent development across the region. This role requires a strong onsite presence in warehouse facilities and some travel. This role is an exempt, salaried position, as defined by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Due to the required strategic collaboration with other people (supervisory) and non-people management roles and/or while working directly with clients, the daily success of this role depends on consistently meeting and/or surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs), and various service level agreements (SLAs). To achieve what is expected of the role, it is a requirement of the position to cover full shifts, including work time outside of its regular scheduled hours, which includes weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Act as the primary HR partner to the Site Leadership Team.
- Translate business objectives into people strategies that drive performance, engagement, retention, and culture.
- Support organizational design and change management initiatives aligned with operational growth or volume fluctuations.
Title:
Senior Manager, Human Resources Employee Relations
- Lead and resolve complex associate relations issues, including investigations, corrective actions, and performance management.
- Provide coaching to leaders on effective people management practices and early issue identification to minimize risk.
- Ensure consistent application of policies, corrective action standards, and documentation across all sites. Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with specific expertise in NV wage/hour, leave laws, and workplace regulations.
- Oversee proper execution of FMLA, ADA/FEHA, and reasonable accommodation processes. Talent Management & Development
- Partner with operations leaders on hiring strategies, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Support and coach site HR Business Partners (if applicable), ensuring consistency and capability.
- Facilitate or support new hire orientation, engagement initiatives, performance management, and retention strategies for hourly and salaried populations. HR Operations & Execution
- Drive consistent execution of HR programs, policies, and initiatives at the site location.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, attendance, corrective actions, etc.
) to identify trends and recommend solutions. Support site startups, transitions, client changes, or volume-driven workforce adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
Required 1. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field. 2. 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, including policy creation and implementation, associate relations, orientation, HRIS, performance management and workplace investigations. 3. Must be able to provide support on nights, weekends & holidays as needed. 4. Bilingual- English & Spanish. 5. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen. 7. Ability to effectively communicate with team members from diverse backgrounds and with different communication styles. 8. Qualifications:
Preferred 1. Prior experience with 3PL, Retail, Distribution, Reverse Logistics/E-Commerce and/or startup experience a plus. Experience working in a warehouse environment. 2. SHRM certification preferred and/or ability to obtain within a year.
