The Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Gregory Mott, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES 2026-2027 VACANCY POUGHKEEPSIE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university and a New York State School District Administrator (SDA), or School District Leader (SDL) certificate by the time of appointment. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of related management of supervisory experience. Previous responsibilities in public school administration, public school district administration, and experience in diverse organizations required. Candidates with prior administrative experience in an urban school district with a large racially and economically diverse population are preferred and encouraged to apply. Additionally, candidates with a background in human resources are preferred and encouraged to apply.DUTIES:

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, the Executive Director of Human Resources will plan, organize, control, and direct the operations, activities, and services of all the functions of the Human Resources Department.The Executive Director of Human Resources will coordinate and direct personnel, resources, communications, and information to meet district needs. The Executive Director of Human Resources will also supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
