Direct Hire Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for a Human Resources Manager. Our client is a leader in optical interferometer-based instrumentation. As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for the full life cycle for employees. Should have an in-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws/regulations with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end recruiting process. Manage comprehensive onboarding programs to facilitate the integration of new employees. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters Conduct investigations into employee complaints Administer workers compensation and disability programs Stay current with employment laws, regulations, and industry trends. Provide guidance to management on legal and regulatory matters as related to employees. Manage employee benefits programs. Create and administer performance appraisal process Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention. Train, develop and lead other personnel where an experience differential is applicable; develop process and documentation as practical.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in human resources in an OEM manufacturing, or similar environment. Bachelor's degree in business or technical subjects, or similar cumulative credentials supporting manufacturing or business operational efficiency. Data analysis, collection, conclusions and reporting ability Communicate effectively with differing disciplines and experience levels based on a given situation. Self-motivated and able to independently take and facilitate action in a collaborative environment. Ability to form documented plans, act and form conclusions within an individual and group context, forming consensus where necessary Background in a technical field, instrumentation or optics helpful. Supervisory or managerial experience is beneficial. PHR / SHRM or similar certifications.
Salary:
