HR Business Partner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field. Additional years of professional level HR experience may be considered as equivalency to each year of college-level education, if degree has not been obtained. Computer skills to include spreadsheets and familiarity with the Internet for research capabilities. Excellent communication skills to include written, platform presentation skills, and group facilitation skills. High level of trustworthiness and confidentiality are required. Required Length and Type of Experience Minimum three (3) years professional Human Resources experience in various disciplines. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to interpret and administer other labor laws such as FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA and HIPAA. Required Licensure or Certification
PHR/SPHR
certification desirable.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner works autonomously to provide Human Resource advice, counsel and services to meet the needs of employees and managers in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits (as necessary), and employee activities. Assists the VP and peers with administering HR programs and policies effectively, creating proactive employee relations, including effective communication and compliance with policies and laws that ensure fair and equal treatment to employees, and with investigations and regulatory compliance matters. Assists daily walk-in employees or applicants as necessary.
