Job Description

Human Resources Business Partner/Wood County Hospital/Full Time The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic HR partner to customer service groups, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development. The position supports HR operations, fosters a positive work environment, and aligns HR initiatives with business goals to enhance engagement and retention. The Human Resources Business Partner is an onsite position. Essential Functions Provide day-to-day HR support to customer service groups, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary guidance. Conduct regular meetings and collaborate with customer service groups to enhance employee relations, boost morale, and support retention efforts. Manage employee relations issues by conducting thorough investigations and resolving complex concerns in a fair and objective manner. Coordinate HR processes such as FMLA administration, benefits consultation, and license/certification renewals. Facilitate leadership meetings, new hire orientation, and educational sessions; identify training needs and support HR in developing instructional materials. Analyze HR data and trends to recommend solutions and develop recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Director, Human Resources; serve as administrator for the learning management system and provide backup support to other HR team members. Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety. Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
Two (2) years human resources
Certification:
SHRM-CP or PHR or must obtain within 24 months of hire.
Preferred Experience:
One (1) year Workday
