Job Description

Human Resources & Payroll Manager Glick Management LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Manager to oversee all human resources functions for our organization. This is a hands-on position responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and other HR-related functions. This position serves as the primary HR contact for employees and leadership and will independently manage the day-to-day Human Resources function.
Salary:
$60,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time salaried position, approximately 40-45 hours per week Benefits 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) 2 weeks of unpaid time off (UTO) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Company-paid $15,000 life insurance policy Option to purchase additional life insurance coverage 6 paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan with company match Responsibilities Partner with leadership regarding employee relations matters, including coaching, performance management, corrective action, and discipline. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures, payroll, benefits, time off, and compensation. Develop, administer, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs. Implement and maintain Payroll Partners systems throughout applicable HR functions. Administer employee benefits, compensation, and performance management programs. Create and maintain accurate and compliant job descriptions. Manage the recruitment and selection process from job posting through hire. Manage employee onboarding and conduct new-hire orientation. Process payroll, including reviewing submitted time, tracking PTO, entering payroll exceptions, and processing benefit changes. Maintain confidential employee personnel files and HR documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations. Administer and process workers' compensation claims. Monitor and respond to unemployment claims. Prepare and process employee termination paperwork and related documentation. Supervise the Title Manager, including hiring, training, scheduling, workflow, and performance. Prepare, review, and distribute reports, forms, correspondence, and other business documents. Assist with reimbursement requests, expense vouchers, and other basic financial records. Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate ordering as needed. Help maintain a professional and welcoming office environment. Perform additional administrative and HR duties as needed. Qualifications Previous Human Resources experience required. Experience independently managing multiple HR functions strongly preferred. Payroll processing experience required. Experience with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employment compliance. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with both employees and management. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the HR function. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Payroll Partners or a similar payroll/HRIS system preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while partnering closely with company leadership and employees.
