Three days per week initially About ILCNCO The Independent Living Center of North Central Ohio (ILCNCO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently, make informed choices, and remain active and engaged members of their communities. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Finance & Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team. This position will play an important role in maintaining the financial health of the organization while supporting effective human resources operations. Position Summary The Finance & HR Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting functions, payroll-related processes, financial reporting, budgeting, grant financial management, and human resources administration. The ideal candidate will have strong nonprofit financial experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the Executive Director, staff, Board of Directors, funding sources, and outside professionals. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and account reconciliations Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related financial documentation Monitor organizational expenses, revenue, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Assist with grant budgets, financial reporting, drawdowns, and compliance requirements Work with the Executive Director to develop and monitor the organization's annual budget Prepare financial information and reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors Coordinate with accountants, auditors, funding agencies, and other outside professionals as necessary Maintain organized financial documentation and appropriate internal controls Assist with employee onboarding and personnel documentation Maintain confidential employee and personnel records Assist with timekeeping, leave records, and other HR-related administrative functions Help ensure organizational compliance with applicable employment policies and procedures Assist leadership with other finance and human resources responsibilities as needed
Qualifications Required:
Demonstrated experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or financial management Proficiency with QuickBooks Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and organizational information Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including
Excel, Word, and Outlook Preferred:
Previous financial experience with a nonprofit organization Grant writing experience Experience managing grant-funded programs, grant budgets, drawdowns, and financial reporting Human resources or personnel management experience Familiarity with government or nonprofit funding requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or a related field Schedule This position is anticipated to begin at three days per week . Depending upon the candidate's qualifications, organizational needs, and the scope of responsibilities, there is an opportunity for the position to become full-time . Specific workdays and hours can be discussed during the interview process. Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.

Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
