Full-Time | Monday- FridayPOSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a hands-on, dependable HR professional who can manage the day-to-day Human Resources functions within a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with employees, supervisors, and management while helping maintain a productive, compliant, and positive workplace.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily HR operations for the manufacturing facility Manage the full recruiting and hiring process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding Conduct new-hire orientation and ensure employees complete all required paperwork and training Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records Handle employee relations issues, workplace concerns, attendance issues, and disciplinary actions Work closely with supervisors and department managers on employee performance and staffing needs Assist with payroll and timekeeping processes Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with benefit-related questions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies Help develop and enforce company policies and procedures Support employee retention and engagement initiatives Track attendance, turnover, staffing levels, and other HR-related information Assist with investigations and documentation of workplace incidents Support safety programs and work closely with management to promote a safe manufacturing environment Maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable workplace regulations Provide guidance to management regarding employee policies, performance, and HR best practicesQUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar HR leadership position Manufacturing or industrial HR experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance Experience handling employee disciplinary actions and performance issues Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively with management Safety/OSHA experience is a plus HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is a plusWHAT WE' RE LOOKING FOR
