They work to take our clients' businesses from good to great and provide training and expertise on how to be an employer of choice. About the role:
A day in the life of an HR Business Partner includes working with Nextep's teams to advise and consult our clients on HR matters within their workplace. Address and resolve employee relations issues in collaboration with clients. Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance management. Ideally, you're a great communicator because you'll be advising our clients on serious matters including employee discipline, performance improvement, separations, terminations, and general employee management. You'll also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of local, state, and federal laws affecting human resources and using that expertise to educate and advise our clients. Serve as HR product expert as you will audit HR-related billing activity for accuracy, bill clients for appropriate services, submit invoices and troubleshoot. Conduct training sessions for clients on HR-related topics, systems, and best practices. Offer guidance on utilizing HR tools and resources effectively. Continued learning is vital because you'll be responsible for updating our clients and HR team on state and federal legal or legislative changes. Requirements About you: You have a high school diploma or equivalent. Ideally, you have a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Human Resources or related Business field) from a four-year college or university. You have two + years of human resources-related experience, training, or education.
