We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with at least five years of HR leadership experience , preferably within a manufacturing environment of 120+ employees. This position requires periodic local travel between two manufacturing facilities. Coordinate interviews and communicate employment offers or hiring decisions. Facilitate pre-employment screening processes, including drug testing through third-party providers. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding programs. Ensure compliance with I-9 requirements and all employment documentation. Manage employee separations, including resignations, terminations, layoffs, and final pay compliance. Employee Relations Partner with employees and managers to address workplace concerns and resolve conflicts. Conduct workplace investigations involving performance concerns, policy violations, and employee complaints. Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors on performance management, corrective actions, documentation, and termination processes. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture. Compliance & Policy Administration Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, OFLA, PFML, ADA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA, and related requirements. Review, update, and maintain employee handbooks, HR policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready employee records and documentation. Partner with external consultants and agencies as needed to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Support and oversee semi-monthly payroll processing in Paylocity as part of the payroll team. Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and benefits communications. Coordinate 401(k) enrollments, loan requests, and plan administration with third-party administrators and financial advisors. HR Operations Maintain personnel files, labor law postings, and required HR documentation. Identify and implement continuous improvements to HR processes and procedures. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources full cycle experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment supporting 120+ employees. Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, payroll administration, and HR best practices.
Required:
Experience with Paylocity HRIS and processing semi-monthly payroll. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and effectively resolve employee relations issues. Strong leadership, coaching, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. SHRM-SCP
