Human Resources Manager Position Scope:
Manages employee relations, training, advertisement, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation/onboarding, staffing, Oregon Paid Leave, 401 (k) plan, employee benefit plan, and labor relations. Familiar with concepts, practices, procedures and relies on experience, and judgment to plan accomplished goals. Supervises two full time HR assistants during the year and four additional part time assistants during the fruit season. Duties + Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures manual. + Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. + Performs benefit administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees. + Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, interns, and temporary employees; conducts new employee orientations; monitors career path program writes and places advertisements for recruiting. + Performs employee relations counseling and exit interviews. Understands corrective action plan and how to communicate with employees. + Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. + Supports the safety manager regarding the SAIF (Worker's compensation) program. The HR department promotes a safe workplace by providing employee information for the worker's compensation program. First report of injury and safety regulation process is followed in the operation. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to analyze and successfully resolve problems in a timely manner. + Work with employees to find successful solutions and supports operation department. Experience Earned Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field. A minimum of five (5) years of HR experience at the professional level, or Master's degree and minimum of three (3) years of HR experience at the professional level. Teaching/Training background with groups of employees: Confident, self-starter with excellent organizational planning and the ability to work independently. Work efficiently with minimum supervision and patience in coaching other employees. Proven experience in Human Resources Management or HR department leadership with a strong understanding of performance standards. Experience with HR systems such as Timekeeper, NAV, benefit programs for data collection, and personnel administration tasks. Strong communication skills paired with experience handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
