Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Shape and carry out people strategies that support business priorities and reinforce broader organizational objectives.
- Advise leaders on workforce planning, performance discussions, team effectiveness, and employee development decisions.
- Direct core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation administration, performance programs, and learning initiatives.
- Enhance HR systems, workflows, and policies to improve consistency, usability, and operational efficiency across the organization.
- Monitor adherence to employment requirements in multiple U.S. states and Mexico, and guide the business on compliant HR practices.
- Lead talent management efforts, including succession planning, leadership growth, and initiatives that strengthen employee engagement.
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external contacts to resolve employee matters and support business needs effectively.
- Oversee environmental, health, and safety activities, promoting compliance and embedding safe practices into day-to-day operations.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that elevate workplace safety, team performance, and organizational outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; advanced credentials or certifications are valued.
- Progressive experience leading HR or people operations within a complex business setting.
- Strong understanding of employment law, regulatory compliance, and workforce practices across multiple locations; international exposure is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, including system implementation, analysis, optimization, or ongoing administration.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, guide organizational change, and strengthen team performance.
- Broad knowledge across talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and organizational development.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
