Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Human Resources Director to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day human resources functions while supporting our employees, department leaders, and overall facility operations. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for someone who understands that strong employee relationships, effective onboarding, and employee retention are essential to providing exceptional resident care. Responsibilities Oversee daily human resources operations for the facility Manage the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for new employees Coordinate pre-employment requirements, background checks, physicals, and other required documentation Conduct and/or coordinate new-hire orientation Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files Ensure employee credentials, licenses, certifications, and required documentation remain current Assist employees with questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related matters Track attendance, leaves of absence, PTO, and employee status changes Support department managers with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes Assist with employee engagement, appreciation, recognition, and retention initiatives Coordinate employee events and facility-wide engagement activities Monitor turnover and identify opportunities to improve employee retention Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and healthcare employment requirements Work closely with the Administrator and department leadership to address staffing and workforce needs Promote a positive, professional, and supportive workplace culture Qualifications Previous Human Resources experience required HR experience within a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, healthcare, or senior living environment strongly preferred Previous HR leadership or management experience preferred Knowledge of employment practices and HR compliance Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally and confidentially Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills and experience with HRIS/payroll systems preferred
Pay:
Up to $65,000.00 per year
