Human Resources Director (LTC) Chestnut Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center - Wilkes-Barre, PA | Full-Time | On-Site Build the team. Support the culture. Make an impact. You'll lead recruitment and onboarding, support employee relations and performance management, maintain HR compliance and personnel records, and help create a positive, accountable workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding, and staffing support Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and strengthen recruitment and retention efforts Verify credentials, references, background checks, employment eligibility, pre-employment screenings, and Nurse Aide Registry requirements Support employee relations, counseling, discipline, investigations, grievances, conflict resolution, and exit interviews Maintain attendance, disciplinary, personnel, and HR documentation records Ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA, FMLA, HIPAA, EEOC, and applicable state and federal labor requirements Support survey readiness, Plans of Correction (2567), Quality Assurance, and facility committees Coordinate employee orientation, mandatory training, performance evaluations, and professional development Monitor Workers' Compensation claims and maintain accurate HR reports and records Report directly to the Administrator and Regional HR leadership Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of HR experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing required Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, recruitment, and employee relations Experience with personnel file management and confidential HR documentation Valid Pennsylvania ID Strong communication, organizational, and professional judgment skills Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
