Overview Community Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative where everyone is welcome. We're seeking a Director of Talent Management to join our Leadership Team and lead the Credit Union's human resources, talent development, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and organizational culture initiatives. This position plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining a talented workforce while ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices. The Director of Talent Management serves as a trusted partner to leaders throughout the organization, supports the President/CEO with key administrative initiatives, and helps foster a workplace culture grounded in our mission, values, and commitment to employee growth. The position also supervises the Talent Development Specialist and oversees employee training and development programs. What You'll Do:
Lead all Human Resources and Talent Management functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, coaching, compensation administration, and employee separations. Supervise and support the Talent Development Specialist while overseeing employee training, compliance education, professional development, leadership development, and succession planning efforts. Administer payroll and employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience. Manage relationships with benefit providers, brokers, retirement plan administrators, and other employee service vendors. Coordinate renewals, plan changes, and implementation of new employee benefit offerings. Guide supervisors and employees through coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, corrective action, leave administration, and employee relations matters. Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws and update HR policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook as needed. Lead employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and culture-building initiatives that support organizational effectiveness and employee retention. Provide executive administrative support to the President/CEO, including preparation of reports, presentations, and special projects.
What We're Looking For:
Three to five years of Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related leadership experience. Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, payroll practices, and employee relations. Proven ability to coach leaders, manage sensitive situations, and maintain confidentiality. Excellent organizational, project management, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing training and development programs and supporting employee growth initiatives. Pay:
$65,936.00 - $82,420.00 per year
