Job Description
HR Business Partner, Employee Relations & Leadership Development Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner who combines sound judgment, strong relationship-building skills, and a genuine passion for developing leaders. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on advisor who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day needs, and helping managers confidently work through complex people challenges. This is a hybrid position in the Corvallis, Oregon area with occasional local travel expected. HR Business Partner Responsibilities Partner with business leaders and managers as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational needs. Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership capabilities, address performance concerns, set expectations, and effectively manage their teams. Navigate complex employee matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and appropriate corrective actions. Identify workforce and talent needs, provide practical recommendations, and connect leaders with appropriate HR resources across recruiting, benefits, leave, and development. Support HR process improvements and change initiatives, including efforts to streamline, digitize, and automate workflows. HR Business Partner Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive corporate HR experience, including significant experience in an HR business partner or broad generalist capacity. Strong HR generalist expertise spanning employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, and employment compliance. Demonstrated ability to coach managers, influence leaders, exercise sound judgment, and develop practical solutions in situations that may not have a clear-cut answer. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; experience with HCM platforms and Microsoft Office 365 required, with HR certification and workflow automation experience preferred.
Salary:
$100K-105K/year + Bonus.
