Description and Requirements The HR Business Partner will support leaders across the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) ESMB business, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to align talent, organization, culture, and workforce strategies with business priorities. This role will partner closely with senior leaders and global stakeholders to translate business needs into practical, scalable HR solutions that enable execution, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and drive measurable business impact.Key responsibilities include:
Partner with VPs, EDs, and management teams to assess organizational needs, shape talent strategies, and drive people initiatives that support business performance, culture, and leadership effectiveness. Provide strategic and practical HR guidance across recruiting, performance management, employee development, organizational design, relocations, compensation discussions, and leadership coaching. Lead and support HR initiatives in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence, HR PMO, and business stakeholders, ensuring strong planning, communication, execution, and follow-through. Advise leaders on employee relations, performance matters, engagement, culture, and change management while helping translate business objectives into actionable people strategies. Influence headcount planning, workforce strategy, and talent management activities by using data, business insight, and strong stakeholder partnership to inform decisions. Collaborate with Country HR Partners to deliver globally consistent and locally compliant HR solutions, navigating country-specific employment laws, policies, and practices as needed.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive HR business partner experience, preferably supporting senior leaders in a complex, global business environment. Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business strategy, organizational dynamics, and operational priorities and translate them into effective people solutions. Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture objectives with practical execution and day-to-day operational requirements.Preferred Qualifications:
HR certifications such as CHRP, CHRL, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar are preferred but not required. Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence, build trust, and establish credibility across all levels of the organization. High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness, with the ability to navigate diverse teams, perspectives, and global stakeholder groups. Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a high level of initiative, ownership, and sound judgment. Demonstrated track record of executing initiatives, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results in a transformational, fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and insights to inform recommendations and decisions. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic, business-oriented HR leader who can move seamlessly from strategy to execution, build strong relationships across a global matrix, and deliver people solutions that help the business operate with greater clarity, speed, and impact. This position requires candidates to be based near our headquarters in Morrisville, NC and adhere to a 3:2 hybrid work schedule.
