We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner I to support business operations by providing strategic and day-to-day HR guidance, employee relations support, talent management assistance, and HR process execution.

Immediate start through December 30, 2026, with possible extension and potential for direct-hire conversion
Pay Rate:
$31.25 - $33.65 per hour ($65K - $70K)

Virtual Teams interviews Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree strongly preferred 2-3 years of Human Resources experience Previous Oil & Gas industry experience required HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD, or similar is a plus Position Summary The Human Resources Business Partner I serves as the primary HR contact for assigned business groups. This role partners with leaders and employees to support employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, recruiting initiatives, HR compliance, and HRIS data integrity. The successful candidate will provide guidance on policies and procedures while working closely with HR leadership to address workplace concerns and organizational needs. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & HR Partnership Serve as a trusted HR resource to assigned business units Provide guidance regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices Support employee counseling, coaching, investigations, and workplace issue resolution Foster positive employee relations and maintain HR visibility within supported groups Talent Management & Workforce Planning Support performance management processes Assist with succession planning and career development initiatives Participate in workforce planning, staffing, and recruiting efforts Help develop internal talent pipelines and employee growth opportunities HR Operations Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Coordinate personnel movements and organizational changes Support standardization of HR processes and procedures Assist with special projects and HR initiatives as assigned Required Skills Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities Effective presentation and facilitation skills Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications Ideal Candidate A collaborative HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders and employees Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Professional, approachable, and service-focused Adaptable and eager to learn and grow within a dynamic organization Culture & Values This organization values professionals who: Analyze and plan thoughtfully Collaborate effectively with others Communicate clearly and professionally Learn, grow, and adapt to changing business needs Deliver results while maintaining strong workplace relationships This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional seeking meaningful experience within the energy industry while gaining exposure to strategic HR initiatives and business partnership responsibilities.
