Human Resources Manager Location:
Arvada, CO |
Hybrid Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM We know people operations are complex. That's why we focus on building strong systems, clear processes, and meaningful support. Human Resources at Evoke Behavioral Health is more than onboarding and compliance - it is a key operational function that supports the employees, programs, and systems that keep our organization running effectively. From employee relations and benefits administration to workers' compensation coordination, compliance, and onboarding/offboarding operations, the HR Manager plays a central role in supporting staff and leadership within a fast-paced behavioral health and educational environment. We are looking for an organized, adaptable, and solution-oriented HR professional who is comfortable balancing employee support with operational and compliance responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, supporting teams, navigating complex situations professionally, and serving as a trusted resource across all levels of the organization. Generous Time Off:
Four Weeks of Paid Center Closures:
We shut down for Spring Break, Summer Break, and Winter Break (2 weeks) so our whole team can disconnect at once.

Meaningful HR Work:
This role is deeply integrated into the day-to-day operations of the organization, with direct involvement in employee relations, compliance, onboarding, workplace investigations, benefits administration, and organizational development initiatives.
Operational & Leadership Exposure:
You'll work closely with executive leadership, clinical directors, and operational teams while serving as a trusted HR resource across the organization.
Hands-On HR Environment:
This is not a siloed corporate HR role. You'll be actively involved in supporting employees, solving problems, improving systems, and helping shape HR processes in a growing organization.

Who You Are:
A Compliance & Operations Professional Evoke Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Human Resources Manager to establish and lead our internal HR functions. As a key member of our team, the HR Manager will play a vital role in managing staffing, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development while being available to address the day-to-day needs of our team.
We are looking for:
A Strong HR Foundation:
You have experience navigating employee relations, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR operations with professionalism and sound judgment.
High-Level Professionalism:
You lead by example and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. You maintain confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism while handling sensitive employee and operational matters.
Operational Resilience:
You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. You understand the importance of accurate documentation, follow-through, and process consistency.
Employee Support & Relationship Building:
You are approachable, solution-oriented, and capable of balancing employee support with organizational expectations and compliance responsibilities.
Adaptability & Initiative:
You are comfortable building systems, improving workflows, and stepping into evolving responsibilities as organizational needs grow and change.
Collaborative Leadership Style:
You work well cross-functionally and enjoy partnering with leadership, clinical teams, and administrative staff to support a positive and productive workplace culture.
Motivation & Drive:
You take ownership of your work, operate with integrity, and are motivated by creating organized, efficient, and people-centered HR operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a proven ability to work independently and handel sensitive matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is preferred. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong interest in compliance, audits, operations, or healthcare administration. Experience in the human services or educational industry is preferred. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable. Ability to pass local, state, and federal background checks. TB test and occupational physical (covered by The Company). Ability to reliably commute to our Arvada facility. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
