This is a highly visible, hands-on HR Business Partner role supporting the U.S. Commercial organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations within the company's Vision Care business. The position pays $75/hour and has the potential to convert to permanent employment within approximately 12 months based on performance and business needs. Although this position carries a Senior Manager title, it is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports. We're looking for someone who can confidently advise senior leaders on organizational strategy, compensation, talent, and performance while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR execution. What You'll Do Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations on business and people priorities Provide HR guidance related to organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, employee engagement, performance management, and compensation Support annual salary and performance-planning cycles Provide HR expertise related to sales incentive compensation plans Coach leaders through employee relations, performance concerns, organizational changes, and other complex people matters Participate in talent reviews, succession planning, and employee-development initiatives Use workforce data and analytics to identify trends and support business decisions Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy, interviewing, requisitions, and recruiting activities Partner with Total Rewards and other HR Centers of Excellence Support organizational redesign and change-management initiatives Remain hands-on with operational HR activities, including requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, and other HR processes Utilize technology, including AI tools, to improve HR efficiency and effectiveness What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience Significant HR Business Partner experience Experience supporting commercial Sales and/or Marketing organizations Experience within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or a related life sciences environment Experience with sales incentive compensation plans Strong experience with performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, organizational design, and talent management Experience partnering directly with senior-level business leaders Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategy to business objectives Ability and willingness to operate in a hands-on individual-contributor environment Strong communication, relationship-building, influencing, and problem-solving skills Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong technology aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems Knowledge of AI and/or experience using AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency Specific experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, or Workday is not required. A Truly Hands-On HRBP Role This is not a position where day-to-day execution is delegated to a team. You should be comfortable moving between strategic and tactical responsibilities—whether that means advising a leader on organizational design, supporting compensation planning, coaching through a performance issue, creating a requisition, participating in interviews, or working through an employee concern. The ideal candidate enjoys being close to the business and wants to both shape HR strategy and personally help execute it. Schedule & Location This position is based in Bridgewater, NJ and follows a consistent hybrid schedule: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Remote Monday and Friday Flexible start and end times based on business needs Typical schedules may include 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM General business coverage falls between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Compensation $75/hour Who Will Be Successful The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial HR Business Partner who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You'll need the executive presence and business acumen to advise senior leaders while also being willing to personally execute the operational work needed to support the organization. Candidates with a combination of commercial HRBP experience, life sciences or healthcare industry experience, sales incentive compensation knowledge, and a hands-on approach will be especially well aligned.
