Job Description
Senior HR Business Partner Our client is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and provide hands-on HR guidance across a dynamic, people-focused organization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and pragmatic HR professional who can navigate ambiguity, coach developing leaders, and balance strategic workforce priorities with day-to-day employee needs. This is a hybrid position in the Corvallis, Oregon area with occasional local travel expected for business needs. Senior HR Business Partner Responsibilities Partner closely with business leaders and managers to provide strategic and practical guidance across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Coach and develop managers on leadership practices, performance expectations, employee concerns, policy interpretation, accountability, and effective people management. Manage complex employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, performance concerns, and appropriate corrective actions. Anticipate workforce and organizational needs, identify trends and opportunities, and recommend practical solutions that support business priorities and employee engagement. Serve as a key HR resource for assigned teams, connecting leaders with appropriate support across recruiting, benefits, leaves, learning and development, and other HR functions. Provide guidance on employment practices and applicable regulations while applying sound judgment to balance business needs, employee considerations, and organizational risk. Support organizational change and people initiatives by building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and helping leaders effectively navigate evolving business needs. Contribute to the improvement and digitization of HR processes, workflows, documentation, and performance-management practices. Use HR data, reporting, and business insights to identify trends and support informed workforce and talent decisions. Collaborate across an HR team and contribute to broader departmental initiatives and operational needs as priorities arise. Senior HR Business Partner Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive corporate HR experience, including substantial experience in an HR Business Partner or broad HR generalist capacity. Demonstrated experience advising and coaching managers across employee relations, performance management, workforce development, and policy interpretation. Strong HR generalist knowledge spanning employee relations, investigations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, and employment practices. Experience supporting leaders within financial services, banking, healthcare, professional services, or a similarly complex corporate environment is strongly preferred. Proven ability to assess complex employee and organizational situations, exercise sound judgment, and develop practical solutions when circumstances are not always clearly defined. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish credibility, build trust, and influence employees and leaders at multiple organizational levels. Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute beyond traditional areas of responsibility when needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and experience working with enterprise
HRIS/HCM
platforms; Dayforce experience is a plus. HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR is preferred, along with experience improving or automating HR workflows and processes.Salary:
$100K-105K/year + Bonus.
