DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & HUMAN RESOURCE
Multi-Unit Restaurant Organization A successful, growth-oriented multi-unit restaurant organization is seeking an experienced Director of Operations & Human Resources to provide strategic leadership across operations, people development, culture, and organizational growth. This executive leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, driving accountability, and supporting the continued growth of a company generating more than $150 million in annual revenue. This position requires a highly visible, hands-on leader who spends time in the restaurants, maintains strong relationships with team members and executives, and serves as a trusted partner to ownership. The ideal candidate leads with integrity, professionalism, accountability, and a people-first mindset while maintaining the highest operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic leadership for a multi-unit restaurant organization with a focus on growth, profitability, and operational consistency. Oversee restaurant operations, financial performance, and execution of company-wide initiatives and offices. Establish and maintain standards for labor, food cost, inventory management, and operational controls. Direct influence in building, coaching, and developing General Managers, Regional Leaders, and future company leaders. Lead recruitment strategies, onboarding programs, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning efforts. Handle employee relations matters with discretion, professionalism, fairness, and integrity. Support restaurant openings, transitions, and growth initiatives across the organization. Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities, address challenges, and ensure the organization continues on an upward trajectory.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 10 years of multi-unit fine dining restaurant operations leadership experience. Previous experience as a General Manager of a high-volume steakhouse or fine dining restaurant for minimum 10 years. Proven experience leading restaurant organizations generating $100 million or more in annual revenue for minimum 10 years. Demonstrated success driving operational excellence, financial performance, and sustainable growth. Strong expertise in P&L management, labor controls, cost management, and performance accountability. Experience developing executive, regional, and restaurant-level leadership teams. Thorough understanding of recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and organizational development. SHRM certification or advanced Human Resources credentials preferred.
