Job Description
Job Summary:
General responsibility for all employee activities, such as employment, training, wage, and salary administration. Advise and counsel line or other supervision in handling grievances or questions, interpreting personnel records, and preparing various personnel reports. Regularly perform normal supervisory functions. Essential Job Functions 1. Set up and oversee HR functions. 2. Ensure proper adherence to corporate policies. 3. Coordinate the strategic hiring and recruitment of employees at all levels. 4. Maintain and process employee paperwork. 5. Oversee and maintain employee hard-copy and electronic files. 6. Serve as a problem solver for the organization. 7. Train and coach employees on company programs. 8. Assess organizational training needs. 9. Supervise student interns, custodians, and reception area employees. 10. Coordinate annual evaluation program. 11. Administer benefits (health and welfare, 401k, and fringe). 12. Organize wellness programs (wellness checks, flu shots, hearing conservation, etc.). 13. Process HR related invoices. 14. Work with social committee to execute company social events. 15. Instruct and coordinate safety and medical teams. 16. Manage workers' compensation incidents and OSHA Logs. 17. Perform public relations and civic involvement. 18. Perform other duties as required by managementQualifications and Requirements Required:
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or other related coursework with three years or more related work experience, or seven or more years related work experience. Strong verbal, mathematics, and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to be a team player, multi-task, and be detail oriented. Must keep up to date on all legal requirements in the workplace.Computer skills:
MS Office software, Sage HRMS software. Internet and e-mail usage.Job Type:
