Company Overview General Summary:
Owns and/or delivers on design, build, and deployment of decision support tools and reports that assist store operations through the identification of opportunities and exceptions as well as monitoring progress on key projects/initiatives. Acts as product owner for operational task management and communications tools to supports field operators with the goal to close operational gaps. Additionally, assist with ad hoc analyses and support other projects and departments
Job Details Duties & Responsibilities:
Analytics and Reporting Leverages multiple internal systems to perform detailed analyses, identify trends or expectations, and support issue resolution. Designs, maintains, and manages reporting scorecards that track operations metrics, task management performance, and communication tool adoption for leadership review. Conducts process and applications audits; builds measurement tools to analyze current processes and recommend improvements or new solutions. Identifies and pursues process improvement opportunities with a focus on reducing waste and enabling automation. Project Management Develops and manages project plans to monitor progress and status updates for key projects and test-and-learn initiatives. Captures detailed requirements for enhancement requires and formalizes documentations for tool and process development or optimization. Performs field observations to gather insights support process mapping, and assess the impact of process changes. Communication Develops presentations, communications, and training materials for leadership updates, product enhancement rollout, cross-functional initiatives, and training sessions. Provides field support through diagnostic troubleshooting for software applications and oversees user access management for internal tool. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Demonstrates a knowledge of retail operations, merchandising and financial software and databases. Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with an ability to meet deadlines. Familiar with reading, writing, and editing programming languages such as SQL, XML, and Visual Basic. Experience with data mining and database management tool like PowerPivot, Power Quiery, Alteryx, and/or 1010data to identify opportunities through root cause analysis, develop actionable solutions and reports, and execute required plans. Highly proficient at MS Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook. Familiar with reading, writing, and editing programming languages such as SQL, XML, and Visual Basic. Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize data into reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Qualifications Work Experience &/or Education:
Bachelor's degree required with a 4-6 years of experience minimum of 2 - 4 years of work experience in an analyst role. Master's degree in Business preferred. Retail work experience a plus.
