Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead people operations and support a productive, compliant, and employee-focused workplace in Pulaski, Tennessee. This role partners closely with leaders and team members to address employee concerns, strengthen performance practices, and drive engagement across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of HR administration, payroll, employee relations, and workplace safety, along with the ability to manage reporting, training, and compliance activities in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Advise supervisors and employees on workplace matters, offering practical guidance on performance concerns, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
  • Review employee complaints and sensitive personnel issues promptly, conducting fair assessments and helping bring matters to appropriate resolution.
  • Oversee performance management activities, including goal alignment, evaluation cycles, feedback practices, and development planning for team members.
  • Support leadership with coaching on performance improvement strategies, career growth discussions, and effective people management approaches.
  • Organize and deliver training initiatives covering HR topics, regulatory requirements, safety expectations, leadership development, and job-related skills.
  • Maintain HR records and documentation with accuracy while administering policies, procedures, and employee data in accordance with legal and company standards.
  • Monitor adherence to employment regulations at the federal, state, and local levels and help prepare the site for internal, external, and customer-facing audits.
  • Contribute to HR reporting by tracking workforce metrics and preparing KPI updates for plant leadership, corporate stakeholders, and other business partners.
  • Lead programs that improve morale and retention, such as recognition efforts, employee activities, and initiatives based on workforce feedback.
  • Assist with workforce reduction activities when needed, including employee communications, coordination of transition support, and administration of related HR processes.
