Senior Certified Professional Senior level Data-driven decision making Payroll processing Recruitment process improvement Collaboration with hiring managers Full Job Description Position Overview The Human Resources Manager at Training Wheels ABA is responsible for overseeing and executing the full scope of HR operations across a growing, multi-site organization. This role serves as a key partner to leadership, ensuring that our HR processes, systems, and strategies effectively support both our team and our continued growth. This is a hands-on role that requires strong ownership of day-to-day HR functions while also contributing to higher-level planning and process improvement. The HR Manager will oversee recruiting efforts, manage HR systems, ensure compliance, and support leadership in making informed workforce decisions. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Systems Manage all HR systems, including Paycom and Employee Navigator Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, reporting, and workflows Develop, standardize, and improve HR processes across all locations Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and consistency Recruiting & Talent Management Oversee and support full-cycle recruiting across all roles Manage and guide recruiting efforts, including supporting recruiting team members Partner with operational leaders to forecast hiring needs and maintain appropriate staffing levels Monitor recruiting metrics and adjust strategies as needed Payroll & Compensation Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Manage payroll audits, corrections, and reconciliations Partner with leadership on compensation decisions, raises, and incentive programs Ensure accurate tracking of PTO, bonuses, and other pay-related items Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Oversee I-9s, background checks, and employee file maintenance Support audits, ACA reporting, workers' compensation, and tax-related requirements Coordinate with third-party vendors, including benefits and COBRA administrators Reporting & Workforce Analytics Prepare and maintain HR reports, including hiring, retention, and utilization data Support leadership with regular KPI reporting and workforce insights Use data to identify trends and support decision-making Employee Support & Performance Management Provide guidance to leadership on employee relations and performance matters Support consistent and compliant handling of employee concerns Assist with performance management processes and documentation Benefits Administration Oversee benefits administration through Employee Navigator Support open enrollment, eligibility tracking, and employee questions Ensure compliance with benefits-related requirements Required Qualifications 7+ years of progressive HR experience Strong experience in HR operations, payroll, and compliance Experience overseeing or supporting recruiting efforts Experience working in a multi-site or growing organization Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience with Paycom, Employee Navigator, and CentralReach SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification Experience in ABA, healthcare, or similar service-based environments
