Standard business hours Position Overview The HR Manager will lead the day-to-day Human Resources function for a growing organization of approximately 1000 employees . This role will partner closely with leadership to support operational HR needs while ensuring compliance, consistency, and a strong employee experience across the organization. This is a hands-on HR leadership role responsible for managing employee relations, overseeing payroll operations, administering benefits programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and managers while ensuring HR processes are executed effectively across the company. Key Responsibilities HR Leadership & Strategy Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives and organizational growth. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, and workplace policies. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices that support operational efficiency and compliance. Lead HR initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture. Employee Relations & Talent Management Manage employee relations matters including performance issues, disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations. Partner with managers to support hiring decisions, employee development, and performance management processes. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and fair employment practices across the organization. Serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees on HR-related matters. Payroll & HR Operations Oversee payroll operations managed by two payroll specialists, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time. Partner with finance to ensure payroll compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain HR data integrity and reporting related to employee records and workforce metrics. Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes, and operational efficiencies. Benefits Administration & Compliance Manage the company's benefits programs, including vendor coordination and employee communication. Lead the annual open enrollment process and ensure employees understand available benefits offerings. Support compliance activities related to benefits administration. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR regulatory requirements.
