Job Description

We're seeking an Enterprise Talent & Succession Lead to design and institutionalize Germania's leadership continuity and succession architecture in support of the company's business strategies. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this enterprise-facing role is responsible for reducing leadership fragility risk, strengthening bench depth across critical roles, and embedding disciplined talent governance aligned with the company's growth strategy and evolving operating model. This role is accountable for building scalable succession systems and delivering measurable bench strength outcomes across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design and institutionalize an enterprise succession framework for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and other critical roles, including readiness definitions and development planning Maintain enterprise visibility into succession risk, bench strength, and leadership continuity through consistent governance and documentation Identify and manage an enterprise inventory of critical roles, incorporating bench depth standards, retirement risk, and knowledge continuity planning Define and embed a future state leadership capability model aligned with Germania 2028 strategy and operating model evolution Develop structured leadership pathways for first time leaders, director readiness, and high potential talent Establish and facilitate a standardized enterprise talent review cadence, supporting director and executive level discussions with clear calibration criteria Integrate AI enabled role evolution and emerging capability requirements into enterprise talent and workforce planning Partner cross functionally and with external advisors to ensure rigor, objectivity, and scalability of succession and talent systems Contribute to enterprise talent analytics, dashboards, and succession reporting in partnership with HR Operations and People Systems Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered 7-10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, or Organizational Effectiveness Demonstrated experience designing succession frameworks and supporting executive-level talent reviews Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align on strategic talent priorities Strong executive presence and facilitation capability Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting talent data and readiness metrics Preferred Qualifications Experience in Property & Casualty insurance or regulated environments Experience partnering with external advisors on succession or leadership architecture Exposure to AI-enabled workforce or operating model transformation A full job description will be presented upon selection for an interview.
