Job Description
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and performance management
- Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Partner with hiring managers to develop staffing strategies, compensation recommendations, and hiring plans
- Administer employee benefit programs, open enrollment, and benefit-related communications
- Manage facility payroll processes and conduct audits to ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and collective bargaining agreements when applicable
- Guide leaders through performance management, disciplinary actions, employee counseling, and terminations
- Coordinate employee orientation, training, staff development, and engagement initiatives
- Maintain confidential employee records and ensure accurate documentation within HR systems and personnel files
- Assist with government reporting, compliance audits, payroll audits, and HR-related projects
- Manage Century's 401K plan
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees.
- Strong employee relations, compliance, and recruitment experience.
- Proven ability to balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS platforms (ADP).
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or
SHRM-SCP
) preferred.Pay:
