Manager of Human Resources Job Description Stark Solutions is seeking an experienced Manager of Human Resources to join our growing manufacturing business in Conroe, Texas. Essential Job Functions Partner with Department Leads and management to implement, communicate, and enforce company HR policies and procedures. Collaborate with management to evaluate and update HR policies and procedures based on employee and business needs. Research compensation practices and market standards within the manufacturing industry and local labor market. Manage the full hiring and onboarding process, including recruiting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding. Attract qualified candidates and develop candidate shortlists for review and interviews by the Management Team. Oversee employee exit interviews, offboarding, and related documentation. Develop and support employee development, engagement, recognition, and appreciation programs. Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Work with third-party administrators and the Accounting Department to administer employee benefit programs. Coordinate with Accounting to ensure accuracy and timely completion of the bi-weekly payroll process. Provide applicable safety training topics and resources to Department Leads for shop employees. Coordinate OSHA annual posting and reporting requirements with HSE Manager. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee training and personnel records. Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR-related records. Support management with employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns. Assist leadership with workforce planning, organizational development, and other HR initiatives as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Education:
Minimum bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations. Experience with employee benefits, including health insurance and 401(k) plans. Working knowledge of payroll processes and payroll administration. Excellent leadership, training, coaching, and employee development skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
