The Role AXS is seeking a highly collaborative Manager, Human Resources to support our Contact Center and corporate offices. Based in Frisco, TX, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Vice President of the Contact Center and leaders across corporate business units in our Frisco and Scottsdale offices. This role has a strong focus on employee relations, Contact Center recruiting and onboarding, compensation, payroll and HRIS data, workforce analytics, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement. What Will You Do? Provide day-to-day human resources support to employees and managers, including employee relations, leadership support, employee experience, inclusive culture, and policy administration. Serve as the primary HR partner to the Vice President of the Contact Center and leaders across corporate business units in the Frisco and Scottsdale offices. Lead interviewing and hiring for Contact Center employees, including partnering with Talent Acquisition and external staffing agencies as appropriate. Coordinate onboarding for all new hires in Frisco and Scottsdale in collaboration with the U.S. HR team. Partner with managers and the HR and Compensation teams to maintain job descriptions, review market compensation and internal equity, and establish salary ranges by title and location. Conduct and document employee relations investigations, recommend appropriate resolutions, and maintain confidentiality. Maintain relevant communication channels and trackers, and coordinate new-hire and termination updates with Talent Acquisition and other partners. Maintain accurate employee information in HRIS, payroll, and related systems; research errors, resolve integration issues, complete data uploads, and support two payroll cycles. Conduct exit interviews, monitor the employee experience, analyze engagement and workforce data, and help leaders execute action plans that improve engagement and retention. Partner with the HR and Benefits teams on program implementation, leave administration, open enrollment, and resolution of employee questions. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, Texas, Arizona, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Coordinate with Human Resources, Finance, IT, Payroll, and Operations on change management, communications, training, and implementation plans for HR and payroll processes and systems. Pull and analyze workforce metrics to identify trends, inform recommendations, and keep leadership apprised of areas that may require action. Travel periodically between the Frisco and Scottsdale offices as business needs require. What Will You Bring? 5+ years of progressive human resources generalist experience, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, culture, performance management, and onboarding. Previous experience supporting a Contact Center environment is required. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, employee data, reporting, and data integrity. Knowledge of applicable federal, Texas, Arizona, and local employment and leave laws, including
FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC
requirements, and Title VII. Experience advising and influencing leaders at all levels of an organization. Strong business acumen and analytical skills, including the ability to translate workforce data into practical recommendations. Excellent employee relations, investigation, conflict-resolution, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and professionalism. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively across teams. Strong project-management, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work with urgency, adapt to change, and maintain composure under pressure. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or
SHRM-SCP
certification is also preferred. Experience in a technology, entertainment, ticketing, or similarly fast-paced organization is a plus. Bonus:
This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
