Full Job Description SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and administering HR programs, practices, and processes that support DCM Manufacturing's business objectives and company culture. This position provides HR guidance to employees and management with a primary focus on attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. The Human Resources Manager serves as a trusted resource and liaison between employees and management and provides support and guidance across employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, safety, compliance, and other human resources functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary resource for employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, compensation, payroll, time and attendance, and other employment-related matters. Manage and maintain payroll and time and attendance information for all employees, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and properly retained. Develop, maintain, and periodically review job descriptions for all positions. Assist with creating new job descriptions as organizational needs change. Conduct regular compensation and salary surveys and make recommendations regarding pay grades and compensation practices to maintain internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance. Maintain, interpret, and recommend revisions to company HR policies, procedures, and practices. Lead and oversee recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and participation in the selection process as needed. Manage the new hire onboarding and orientation process, including employment offers, background screenings, pre-employment testing, required documentation, and new hire communications. Coordinate employee separation processes, including preparation of separation notices and related documentation and participation in separation meetings when appropriate. Manage workers' compensation and unemployment claims and coordinate related documentation and communications. Maintain accurate and confidential personnel, medical, and workers' compensation files in accordance with applicable requirements. Coordinate employee wellness initiatives, including wellness campaigns, health fairs, and other programs designed to support employee well-being. Maintain company phone lists, organizational charts, and other HR-related organizational records. Serve as a liaison between employees and management to promote effective communication, address concerns, and support positive employee relations. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and communicate changes in requirements to management as appropriate. Administer the company's performance management program to promote consistency, accountability, and equity throughout the organization. Coordinate and maintain Performance Improvement Plans, Performance Correction Notices, new hire and annual performance reviews, Individual Development Plans, goal planning, and other performance management activities. Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), 401(k), and other company-sponsored benefits. Assist with work-related accident and incident investigations and prepare required documentation and reports for insurance carriers and other applicable parties. Maintain relationships and contracts with external HR service providers, including staffing firms, benefits providers, consultants, and other HR vendors. Coordinate employee relations and engagement activities, including employee communications, recognition programs, awards, celebrations, and other initiatives. Maintain, prepare, and post required OSHA logs and related safety records. Serve as an in-house resource for workplace safety matters, including incident and accident reporting, OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, and coordination of safety-related activities. Assist with and provide guidance regarding benefits, compensation, performance management, and other HR matters for facilities outside the United States and Canada, as needed. Maintain appropriate confidentiality of employee and company information. Other duties as assigned.
GENERAL SKILLS

Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations regarding complex, sensitive, or potentially controversial topics. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employment compliance. Demonstrated discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other applicable HR and business software systems.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment required. Prior safety management or workplace safety experience required. Experience with employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, and employment compliance required Multi-Shift experience is preferred Experience working in a multi-site or international organization preferred. Human Resources professional certification, such as SHRM or HRCI, preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports or formal supervisory responsibility. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing guidance and support to employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, performance management, employee relations, safety, and other employment-related matters.
FLSA CLASSIFICATION/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a salary exempt position and is not eligible for overtime. A minimum of forty (40) hours per week is required. Additional hours may be necessary based on business needs.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel may be required approximately 10%-20% of the time to support company facilities, meetings, training, employee relations matters, or other business needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is primarily sedentary, with the majority of work performed on a computer in a professional office environment. Regular communication via email, telephone, and in-person meetings is required. Occasional walking and movement throughout the manufacturing facility may be required. SAFETY Safety glasses, hearing protection, and other required PPE may be required when entering or working in production and manufacturing areas. All applicable company safety policies and procedures must be followed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment. The position may periodically require work or visits within manufacturing and production areas where there may be exposure to equipment, noise, temperature variations, and other typical manufacturing conditions

Must be able to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks and objectives, maintain timeliness for completion, evaluate sensitive workplace situations, and determine appropriate courses of action.
