Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead people operations for our Health Pharm/Biotech organization in Farmville, North Carolina. This role will work closely with leadership to shape HR programs that support business goals, strengthen employee engagement, and maintain a compliant workplace. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, and HR process improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with department leaders to design and carry out human resources initiatives that support organizational priorities and long-term growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end hiring activities, including attracting candidates, evaluating applicants, coordinating interviews, completing reference checks, and preparing offers.
  • Direct the onboarding experience by organizing orientation, required documentation, training schedules, and coordination of access or system setup.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on workplace concerns, investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and separation processes.
  • Lead performance management activities by supporting goal development, feedback practices, review cycles, and manager coaching.
  • Administer employee benefit programs and serve as a point of contact for enrollments, status changes, terminations, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, workforce data, and HR documentation while ensuring alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Monitor employment law compliance, update policies and handbook content, and manage reporting, audits, leave processes, and accommodation-related documentation.
  • Identify training needs, coordinate learning initiatives, and deliver HR guidance on policies, compliance expectations, and workplace practices.
  • Improve HR workflows and partner with payroll and finance to ensure employee data changes are processed accurately and on time.
