Springtree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, VA is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team as the Director of Human Resources. As the Director of Human Resources, you'll be at the forefront of our mission of providing Care Beyond Compare by ensuring that our healthcare center stays fully staffed with exceptional employees. You'll serve as our culture ambassador - helping new hires feel comfortable and get acquainted with the team, advancing employee engagement, encouraging employee growth and development, and so much more. What We Offer Competitive salary ranging from $52,000 to $75,000 per year commensurate with experience Bonus potential based on performance. Manage employee onboarding and new hire orientation; Ensure employees are set up for success and that all employment records are maintained in compliance. Manage bi-weekly payroll process and ensure all timecards submitted are complete and accurate. Support staff and serve as an employee resource to answer questions related to HR matters including benefits, policies, and procedures. Prepare and update schedules and daily staffing and ensure adequate staffing ratios. Ensure the electronic scheduling system stays up to date to accurately reflect staffing schedule. Coordinate employee requests for time off to ensure proper coverage of nursing units. Develop and maintain good working rapport with other departments in the healthcare center. What You Need Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field. Experience in Human Resources or related field. Understanding of labor laws and best practices. Ability to effectively coordinate people and resources. Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
