About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, experienced HR Manager to serve as the primary Human Resources professional for our organization. This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, and the ability to make a meaningful impact. As the HR Manager , you will oversee and manage the day-to-day Human Resources function while partnering closely with employees, managers, and leadership. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional who is comfortable managing the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding to employee relations, benefits, HRIS administration, compliance, and offboarding. You will be both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to balance competing priorities and build effective HR processes that support the organization and its employees. What You'll Do As our primary HR professional, you will: Serve as the point of contact for employees and managers on Human Resources matters. Manage and administer the day-to-day HR function and the full employee lifecycle. Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, workplace practices, employee relations, employee development, and other HR-related matters. Partner with leadership to identify HR needs and recommend practical solutions that support business objectives. Maintain and administer HR policies, procedures, programs, and employee records. HRIS and ADP Workforce Now Serve as the primary practitioner for ADP Workforce Now . Maintain accurate employee information and organizational data within the HRIS. Process employee changes, including new hires, promotions, compensation changes, transfers, leaves of absence, and terminations. Support payroll processes by reviewing and maintaining employee and payroll-related information. Generate reports and utilize HR data to support leadership and organizational decision-making. Troubleshoot routine HRIS issues and coordinate with ADP and other vendors as needed. Recruiting and Onboarding Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and pre-employment requirements. Partner with hiring managers throughout the hiring and selection process. Coordinate and manage new employee onboarding, orientation, documentation, benefits enrollment, and HRIS setup. Help create a positive and engaging experience for new employees. Employee Relations and Performance Management Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on employee relations matters. Provide guidance and support to managers regarding performance concerns, employee coaching, corrective action, and workplace issues. Assist with employee investigations and documentation, escalating complex or high-risk matters as appropriate. Support performance management processes and initiatives. Benefits, Leave, and Employee Programs Administer employee benefits programs, including new hire enrollment, qualifying life events, and open enrollment. Serve as a primary contact for employees regarding benefits questions and concerns. Partner with benefit brokers, carriers, and vendors to resolve employee issues. Coordinate employee leave administration and related documentation. Support employee programs and initiatives that promote a safe and positive workplace experience. Compliance and HR Operations Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and confidential employee and personnel records. Monitor HR compliance requirements and recommend updates to policies and practices as appropriate. Coordinate required employment documentation, notices, postings, and reporting. Partner with outside counsel, consultants, and HR vendors when necessary. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and employee programs. Offboarding Manage employee separations and offboarding activities. Coordinate termination documentation, benefits notifications, HRIS updates, and exit interviews. Ensure employee records and related documentation are accurately maintained. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar broad-based HR role. Experience supporting multiple areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and HR administration. Hands-on working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now. Experience maintaining employee records and HR data within an HRIS. Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years progressive Human Resource experience HR certification such as
SHRM-CP, PHR
, or equivalent. Experience serving as a primary or sole HR professional for an organization. Experience supporting payroll and time and attendance processes. Experience working with benefits brokers, vendors, employment counsel, or external HR consultants. $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
