The Director of Talent & HR Operationsis responsible for executing the organization's talent and people strategies while ensuring operational excellence across talent management functions. Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Management, this role translates enterprise talent initiatives into practical, scalable programs that enhance organizational performance and deliver an exceptional employee experience. The Director serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing guidance on talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and change management while leading the HR team responsible for day-to-day service delivery. This role with support all sites and associates throughout the US. 2 direct reports in Neenah WI 1 direct report in port s, VA Ideal candidate would live within 2 hours of our Neenah WI facility and be available to be onsite at least 2 days per week. Travel to other sites will be required, approx 2 - 4 times per year.Essential Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Business Partnership- Lead the Human Resources function, ensuring consistent, responsive, and high-quality support to leaders and employees.
- Direct HR Business Partners and HR staff to deliver strategic and operational HR services.
- Translate enterprise talent strategies into department-level action plans.
- Partner with business leaders to align workforce plans with organizational priorities.
- Ensure HR processes are efficient, scalable, and continuously improving. ________________________________________ Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Execute recruiting strategies to ensure talent meets our business needs.
- Partner with leaders to forecast staffing needs and implement workforce plans.
- Monitor recruiting performance metrics and recommend process improvements.

- Facilitate talent review and succession planning processes across the organization.
- Coordinate leadership development initiatives and manager training programs.
- Partner with leaders to create individual development plans for high-potential employees.
- Support implementation of enterprise competency and capability frameworks.

- Administer the organization's performance management process.
- Coach leaders on effective performance conversations and employee development.
- Support calibration discussions and talent assessments.

- Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure fair, consistent application of policies and employment practices.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and action planning.

- Support organizational design initiatives by providing workforce analysis, organizational insights, and implementation support.
- Assist leaders in evaluating team structures, role clarity, and workforce capabilities.
- Coordinate implementation of organizational changes, restructures, and acquisitions.

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Oversee employee relations practices that minimize organizational risk.

- Develop dashboards and workforce reports for leaders.
- Analyze turnover, retention, hiring, engagement, and workforce trends.
- Provide recommendations based on workforce data.

- Establish departmental priorities and performance expectations.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Experience across multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management,recruiting, organizational development, and compliance..
- Strong experience in continuous improvement, Lean, SHINGO
- Experience using workforce analytics to drive business decisions.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or multi-site organizations.
