Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support a manufacturing operation in Wisconsin through a long-term contract assignment. This position will oversee core HR functions including payroll, recruiting, benefits administration, employee onboarding, and workplace relations for a growing team. The role also offers the opportunity to establish more consistent HR processes, strengthen talent development efforts, and partner with leadership to create an organized and employee-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage complete payroll processing for approximately 100 employees, ensuring accurate and timely pay practices.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for open roles by coordinating sourcing, screening, interviews, and selection activities.
  • Administer employee benefit programs and serve as a resource for questions related to coverage, enrollment, and plan changes.
  • Coordinate new employee setup activities, including documentation, orientation preparation, and entry into HR systems.
  • Address employee concerns with professionalism, provide guidance on workplace matters, and support positive employee relations.
  • Build and formalize HR procedures and systems to improve consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the organization.
  • Enhance onboarding practices to help new employees integrate successfully into the manufacturing environment.
  • Support performance review processes and contribute to talent development initiatives for employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HR documentation in line with company standards and employment regulations.
  • Partner with site leadership to align HR priorities with workforce needs and operational goals.
