A Medical Laboratory Technician helps with the performance of laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology laboratories, which provide information for medical patient diagnosis and treatment. Sets up, operates, and maintains laboratory equipment, makes observations, and calculates and records results; receives, types, tests, and records blood bank inventories.

Job Description
Job Overview Busy laboratory with high complexity that supports internal medicine and oncology practices seeks a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist. Responsible for processing specimens in all areas of the laboratory to include Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Serology and Urinalysis. ASCP certification, board eligible or equivalent required. No weekends or holidays.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, and work independently; exhibits problem-solving skills.
- Practices OSHA safety standards and complies with HIPAA at all times
- Epic and/or MedCon experience a plus!
