Onsite position located in Stevens Point, WI. Hybrid may be considered.
Job SummaryThe Human Resources Business Partner - Total Rewards serves as the organization's subject matter expert for benefits, leaves of absence, wellness, employee experience, and total rewards programs.
This role combines operational administration with strategic analysis and recommendations, helping ensure employees understand, value, and maximize available programs while supporting organizational goals related to retention, engagement, and workforce wellbeing.
Essential FunctionsJob ResponsibilitiesTotal RewardsAdminister and continuously evaluate health, welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs.
Analyze utilization, cost trends, and market data to develop recommendations for benefit plan enhancements.
Partner with Director of HR, brokers, and vendors on benefit design, renewal strategies, and employee communications.
Administer and continuously evaluate compensation benchmarking and market pricing activities.
Leave AdministrationLead administration of FMLA, ADA, state leave programs, and short-term disability processes.
Coordinate employee communications and required documentation.
Partner with leadership regarding leave trends and workforce impact.
Support accommodation processes in partnership with Sr. HRBP. Employee ExperienceDevelop employee communications related to benefits and total rewards.
Lead employee engagement initiatives regarding wellness and recognition; partnering with the organizations Administration team when appropriate.
Review and analyze employee engagement survey results; provide recommendations and support engagement survey efforts and action planning.
Promote employee understanding of overall compensation and benefits offerings. Analytics & Workforce InsightsDevelop reporting related to:
Benefit utilizationLeave activityTurnover trendsEngagement dataWorkforce demographicsIdentify opportunities and provide strategic recommendations for improved employee experience, retention, and workforce stability.
OtherPerform all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Etac company values and elements. Report to work as scheduled, on time, and able to work entire work schedule.

Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitySolid understanding of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting associate benefit programs. Knowledge of benefits contract language.
Knowledgeable in federal and state employment leave guidelines.
Effective planning and priority setting.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
Professional and collaborative mindset when working with internal and external partners.
High level of attention to detail and record keeping.
Intermediate computer proficiency and technical aptitude in Microsoft programs, HRIS, and benefits databases (with Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables, XLOOKUP & formulas).Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly adaptable and responsive to changing business needs.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Possess a continuous improvement mindset.

Manual dexterity to type and operate office equipment frequently. Must be able to complete all physical requirements to perform the essential functions. QualificationsEducation / ExperienceRequiredBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and 5+ years of HR, benefits, total rewards, or employee engagement experience.
Experience administering leave programs and employee benefits. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Benefits strategy experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing and corporate populations.
PreferredMulti-state leave administration experience.
SHRM-CP or
Experience supporting hourly and professional workforces.
Working EnvironmentStandard working conditions include a temperature-controlled office and manufacturing environment.
