90-Day Contract-to-Hire (Full-Time Opportunity)

Kedali America is launching a new U.S. division, and we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to play a key role in building the foundation of our people strategy and operations. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing organization from the ground up. As one of the early members of our U.S. leadership team, you will partner closely with management to establish HR processes, support employee growth, ensure compliance, and create a positive workplace culture during this exciting startup phase. This position will begin as a 90-day contract assignment . Upon successful completion of the contract period and mutual agreement by both parties, the role will transition to a regular full-time position. Position Overview The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the Human Resources function for Kedali America. This includes building procedures for talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, payroll oversight, compliance, performance management, safety initiatives, and employee development. This role is ideal for a strategic HR professional who can also roll up their sleeves and execute day-to-day HR operations. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Lead the full-cycle recruiting process for executive, exempt, non-exempt, and production positions. Will then partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and attract top talent. Manage job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer processes. Develop recruiting strategies to support the growth of the new U.S. division. Benefits Administration Review and present options for benefits for the US Branch. Oversee employee health and welfare benefit programs. Manage annual benefits updates and employee communications. Serve as a resource for employee benefit questions and coordinate with third-party administrators. Partner with leadership to evaluate and select insurance and benefits providers. Employee Relations & Compliance Resolve employee relations matters including conflict resolution, investigations, attendance concerns, employee complaints, and policy interpretation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Manage unemployment claims, hearings, layoffs, and leave administration, including FMLA. Payroll & Compensation Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely administration. Participate in compensation surveys and recommend competitive compensation strategies. Develop wage scales, job descriptions, and compensation structures as needed. Performance Management & Employee Development Support and guide managers through performance evaluations and employee development processes. Assist with employee coaching, succession planning, and talent development initiatives. Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Safety & Risk Management Participate in safety committee meetings and support workplace safety initiatives. Monitor workplace incidents and conduct investigations when necessary. Help ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and other regulatory standards. Strategic HR Leadership Assist in the development of HR policies, procedures, and systems that support organizational growth. Prepare and support Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, and other required reporting. Manage special projects and initiatives that support business objectives. Qualifications Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience. Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, benefits, payroll, and talent acquisition. Experience supporting multiple areas of HR in a leadership capacity. Preferred Qualifications Human Resources experience within a manufacturing environment. PHR or SPHR certification. Experience building or scaling HR processes within a growing organization. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Successful candidates will demonstrate: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Experience with payroll administration and employee benefits programs. Ability to gather, analyze, and present data to support business decisions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, and HRIS systems. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a passion for employee development. Physical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, walking, speaking, and hearing.
