Competitive, based on experience An established manufacturing company in the Morgantown area is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support employees and management at its local facility. This is a hands-on HR position that works closely with employees, site leadership, and regional and corporate Human Resources teams. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Human Resources experience , strong organizational skills, and experience with payroll, HR records, recruiting, employee support, and training. Manufacturing or industrial HR experience is preferred. Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR contact for employees regarding questions, concerns, policies, and procedures Partner with site leadership and corporate HR to support day-to-day Human Resources needs Review and validate payroll information and assist employees with payroll questions or issues Provide backup administrative support within the company's HR/payroll system Recruit for open positions and coordinate with recruiters as needed Support the hiring and onboarding process Organize, schedule, track, and document employee training Coordinate and deliver Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) training and other employee training programs Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations Communicate and coordinate with regional HR Managers and corporate HR leadership Assist with office coordination, including supplies, visitors, meals, reservations, and company activities Provide general HR and administrative support as needed Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience Manufacturing, production, industrial, or other fast-paced work environment experience preferred Working knowledge of payroll processing, HR records, and
HRIS/HRMS
systems Experience with employee training preferred Experience with EH&S or safety training is a plus Strong Microsoft Office skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable working with employees and management at all levels Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field preferred Equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience may be considered PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus What We're Looking For We're looking for a hands-on HR professional who is approachable, organized, and comfortable handling a variety of HR responsibilities.
