HR Generalist/Recruiter

Job Description:

Survival Flight Inc. is seeking an experienced Recruiter / HR Specialist to support full cycle recruiting efforts across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to identify, assess, and refer qualified candidates while ensuring a professional and compliant hiring process. This position is 100 in-office, full-time, and reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

PROFESSIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer coordination Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates Source candidates for hard to fill roles using job boards, referrals, social media, networking, and direct outreach Review resumes and employment applications to assess qualifications and overall candidacy Serve as the first point of contact for applicants, providing initial screening and communication Refer qualified candidates to hiring managers or leadership for next steps in the hiring process Participate in interviews to support hiring managers and assist with candidate evaluation Coordinateinterviewschedulingandmaintainconsistentcommunicationwith candidates Maintainaccurateapplicantandrecruitingrecordswithintheapplicanttrackingsystem Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal hiring policies Support onboarding coordination in partnership with HR team members Assist with job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach efforts Prepare recruiting reports and metrics for HR leadership In office clerical duties eg; answering phones, filing, backing up other HR team members when needed Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional Staffing or HR experience Demonstratedexperiencereviewingresumesandconductingcandidatescreenings Strong interviewing, communication, and organizational skills Abilitytomanagemultiplerequisitionssimultaneouslyinafast-pacedenvironment High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office Abilitytowork100in-officeonafull-time schedule

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Recruiting experience in medical, healthcare, EMS, aviation, or emergency services environments Experience supporting safety-sensitive or regulated positions Familiarity with multi-state recruiting operations Experience collaborating with leadership and operational managers

WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Office-based role with prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, phone communication, and interviewing Occasional travel may be required for job fairs or recruiting events
