Days Arkansas Heart Hospital Little Rock, AR Position Summary The HR Generalist provides comprehensive human resources support across the organization, partnering with leaders and employees to support day-to-day HR operations and promote a positive, effective workplace. This position serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders and supports key areas of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, HR policies and procedures, compliance, records management, and employee benefits. The HR Generalist will also provide limited benefits administration support, including assisting employees with general benefits questions, supporting enrollment and eligibility processes, maintaining accurate benefits-related records, and coordinating with benefits vendors and internal partners as needed. Work Schedule Forty hours per week, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm or as business needs demand. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a knowledgeable and responsive resource to employees and leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, programs, and workplace matters. Provide guidance and support related to employee relations, performance management, attendance, corrective action, and other employee matters. Assist leaders with the interpretation and consistent application of company policies and procedures. Support recruitment and selection activities, including job postings, candidate communication, interviews, background checks, and pre-employment processes. Support new-hire onboarding and orientation activities. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Assist with employment-related documentation, HR reports, audits, and compliance requirements. Provide general support for employee benefits programs, including responding to routine employee questions, assisting with enrollment and eligibility processes, and coordinating benefits-related documentation. Maintain accurate benefits-related employee information and assist with identifying and resolving discrepancies. Support benefits communications, enrollment activities, and other routine benefits administration as assigned. Assist with HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, policy updates, and organizational initiatives. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, compensation, benefits, and organizational information. Stay informed of applicable employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Specifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Licensure /
Certification:
None required.
Experience:
Previous experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role. Healthcare experience preferred.
