3+ years of Human Resources experience Human Resources Generalist AHM, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our growing, multi-location healthcare organization. This is not an entry-level HR position. We are looking for an HR professional who can step into the role, take ownership of day-to-day human resources responsibilities, and confidently support both employees and leadership. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS administration, timekeeping, performance management, employment documentation, and employee separations . Experience working with ADP and supporting multiple locations is strongly preferred. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day Human Resources operations Support employees and managers across multiple locations Recruit, screen, interview, and coordinate hiring of new employees Manage new-hire onboarding and employment documentation Maintain accurate personnel files and employee records Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and separations Manage employee attendance, PTO, and timekeeping issues Maintain employee information within ADP and other HR systems Assist with payroll-related employee information and discrepancies Handle employee relations matters professionally and consistently Assist managers with performance concerns, corrective action, and documentation Prepare and maintain performance improvement plans when needed Coordinate background checks and pre-employment requirements Assist employees with policies, procedures, and HR-related questions Support benefits administration and employee benefit questions Help maintain compliance with federal and state employment requirements Assist with employee investigations and workplace concerns Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information Help ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently across locations Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience Previous experience as an HR Generalist, Human Resources Specialist, or similar HR role Hands-on experience with employee relations Experience with recruiting and onboarding Experience with performance management and corrective-action documentation Experience processing employee separations and maintaining personnel records Working knowledge of employment policies and HR best practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Confidence working directly with employees, managers, and senior leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience with ADP Workforce Now or another ADP HR/payroll platform Experience supporting a multi-location organization Healthcare industry HR experience Experience with time and attendance administration Knowledge of Arkansas employment practices Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration What We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who can take ownership rather than wait for direction . You should be comfortable handling several different HR priorities during the same day—from interviewing a candidate to addressing an attendance issue, reviewing employee documentation, assisting a manager with a performance concern, or processing an employee separation.
