Job Description

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide temporary administrative support to the Human Resources department by performing accurate and timely data entry, maintaining personnel-related records, and assisting with routine HR office tasks in accordance with established policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Standard Expectations:
Perform accurate data entry into HR information systems, spreadsheets, databases, and electronic filing systems. Review documents and data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; identify missing or unclear information for follow-up. Scan, upload, organize, and maintain electronic personnel, recruitment, onboarding, and other HR-related records. Assist with updating employee information, tracking logs, reports, and routine correspondence as assigned. Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee, applicant, and departmental information in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Respond courteously to routine inquiries from employees, applicants, and department representatives, referring to complex or sensitive matters to appropriate HR staff. Provide general administrative support, including filing, copying, document preparation, mail distribution, and scheduling assistance. Follow established HR procedures, records-retention practices, and data-entry standards. Work collaboratively with HR staff and other college personnel to support timely completion of assigned tasks and projects. Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel One (1) year of secretarial or office related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior knowledge of basic Human Resources processes, practices, and terminology This position will be scheduled for up to 19 hours per week .
