In this role, you will help develop industrial relations training and orientation programs for employees and supervisors, such as on-boarding, work rule enforcement, and grievance procedures. You will assist with audits, input data for dues collections, and record meeting minutes. In addition to providing valuable support, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of industrial relations. #LI-SM2Major Responsibilities:
Industrial Relations/Labor Relations Develops knowledge of practical application of labor laws, equal employment/affirmative action legislation and related government policies Assists with the development of Industrial Relations training and orientation programs for manual employees and their supervisors, such as on-boarding, work rule enforcement, and grievance procedures for manual employees Records and maintains meeting minutes for LR meetings Assists in S/C audits for labor compliance Inputs data for dues collections/affiliationsEducation and Experience Requirements:
Requires 1-2 years of related experienceRequired Knowledge and Skills:
Strong computer skills in MS office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and employee database management. Basic knowledge of US Labor and Employment law. General knowledge of HR/LR systems for Craft personnel. Assists with the implementation of process improvement exercises. Previously employed in an HR/LR related role within andEPC/EPCM
environment Previous Bechtel, Bantrel or JV experience (desired) Demonstrated skill in requirements analysis, work processes, practical procedure preparation, spreadsheet development, preparation of presentations and report writing Fluency in written and spokenEnglish Total Rewards/Benefits:
