As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a passionate and service-minded HR Generalist to join our Human Resources & Organizational Development (HROD) team. This is a key role for a motivated HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, values-driven environment and is eager to help shape our culture and employee experience. About the Role As an HR Generalist at FIG CU, you will provide vital support across core HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, compliance, benefits, and leave administration. You'll serve as a go-to resource for employees and managers, help ensure operational excellence, and play a hands-on part in organizational development initiatives. Trusted Partner:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
Support Growth:
Assist with onboarding, talent management, and learning initiatives as we scale our operations.
Champion Compliance:
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and support HR audits and reporting.
Navigate Benefits & Leaves:
Guide employees and managers through benefits, leave of absence, and accommodation processes.
Drive Process Improvement:
Maintain HRIS data accuracy and identify opportunities to streamline HR processes.
Collaborate & Contribute:
Work closely with the HRBP and HROD team on projects that align with our organizational strategies and people priorities.
Embrace Change:
Support mergers and acquisitions, organizational transformation, and other initiatives as we continue to grow. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 1 year of progressive HR experience; experience supporting mergers and acquisitions is a plus Experience supporting HR programs in small to mid-sized organizations preferred Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS implementation is a plus Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills High level of integrity and professionalism with confidential information Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Ability to adapt and collaborate within a small, high-performing team Why FIG CU?
